She's better than average for her age sure, but not more than that; there's many others at a similar level. For as much as she trains and is promoted you'd think she was the 2nd coming. She also hasn't gone through puberty yet (can be a game changer for some kids, not always positively) and from 16+ the game becomes as much about mental toughness as it does skill. NT rosters have tons of churn from 14 to 18 even 20+. She might be able to plough through it all, or becomes the poster child for burnout.

and putting her in the media spotlight. If that's how they want to roll they have to accept the criticisms that go along with it.

Doesn't take a pediatrician to figure that out not just because of her age but watching her. If you have a daughter, you know.

Nah, what's creepy is parents turning their kids into the soccer version of JonBenet Ramsey. You'd think parents would have learned the importance of protecting their children's privacy. But hey someone's gotta pay the mortgage.

Putting her in the media spotlight has given her opportunities that beater soccer players her age aren’t getting. Trade off is they have sold her childhood to media hype and taught her you can simply buy attention.

Um, 6 year old beauty pageant vs. 14 year old potential soccer prodigy. Not even close.

Then again, I'm not creep'n on her Instagram looking for pictures of her at the pool.

Some sick jelly dudes on here and the fact they probably coach some U13 team out there is spooky.

Parents...if you have a male coaching a girls youth team (excluding HS) and their daughter IS NOT on, find a new team.

Good luck with that. The vast majority of coaches are male and even larger number are not pervs.

That's the point - there are a lot of really creepy people out there so why expose your kids even more?

                              It is all rather sad.

I don’t think someone mentioning “puberty” is being creepy. The poster(s) bring up a good point. A lot changes with girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 18, and some go through changes that can make them an entirely different athlete (physically and mentally), which is why i never understood college coaches signing players freshman year (age 14/15). I don’t think anyone is necessarily creepy for following her and just because someone views her page doesn’t mean they follow her. Regardless, doesn’t she have a million or so followers anyway? You think those are all tweenie girls? The parents put her out here for publicity and probably the majority of adult followers aren’t creepers, but for sure there are probably some. I haven’t seen anyone that looks like a creeper here though.

I wish this girl all the best. I do worry she may have regrets someday. She will miss out on the high school experience. She can’t play college ball at all now. Her teammates are years older than she is so it makes me wonder how a kid grows up normally with no one her age to relate to for most of the day. Hopefully they have her interacting with girls and boys her age with her limited free time.
