Coaching is pretty organized and fairly good. The education and training used to be better IMO. I can remember going to basic "Goalkeeper for the Head Coach" type courses. Stuff that cost a few bucks and you'd spend half an afternoon learning some stuff. But now even coaching education, licensing and training has become a $cam. Another revenue source for certain ambitious individuals.
But you have rec coaches with E licenses and that itself is a very good course. As long you follow an efficient and meaningful prescription and give players the right opportunities they will learn.
Yes pay to play is an issue because you are only developing the kids with parents either involved enough, or enough money to get theme there.
