Looks like the match up happens Friday. Who do you think will win? Seems like OES had owned CG so I'm going with OES to win at home 3-1. Thoughts?

The first match up between Catlin and OES will be telling for their style of play and which players to mark. But, these teams will most likely play each other 3 times, so the first game isn't a huge deal. What matters is which team can stay healthy and develop team chemistry.

OES has a newbie keeper. She is brave and fearless, but lacks some fundamental knowledge of the position. Catlin has the better players.

Oh look, overpriced low level schools are going to win a state championship—-again. Parents will be so proud as they drive away in luxury cars and head to the Mac for a victory dinner.

Bad look for way to long. I am sure the parents of kids in rural areas are getting pretty over this whole sham... Yes I am sure Buffy and Skip at Catlin or OES will win yet another State Championship. Congrats on that.

The sham is thumping your chests and proud of your 9 year run of supremacy in this division, (as posted). Everyone in the league knows the deal. OES and Catlin are loaded with FC PDX kids and the teams you play are made up of mostly rural kids who play for clubs most of us have never heard of.

By all means take your spoils and enjoy the moment but do not rub the rest of the states nose in it please.

It's all a scam and OSAA is a joke. People get screwed all over. Dont' take any of it too serious and try to have as much fun as you can.

Really, 4A is about the only place left where the best kids from your small town plays the best kids from the next small town over.... Well kinda.

1A-3A seems to be where a lot of these affluent private schools fall in and it's not really kids from that part of town like say Taft or Riverside, everyone knows that. I'm sure those 3A kids would love to play for a title against those other small towns but OSAA just isn't set up that way to be fair. Ask all the 4A kids who probably thought it was there year last year..only to have reigning 5A Champs Woodburn be allowed to drop down.
