You might have to go 4-5 deep into the JV roster to get down there.

It’s the parent of the player that takes it themselves every time, shoots and misses or loses the ball rather than passing that is attempting to explain why their dd has so few goals or assists. Over a season, the goal and assist stats tell the general story.

What I was trying to convey though, is how many times a really good player makes the run to the corner, makes a brilliant move, makes a beautiful cross, and their teammate punts it over an open frame. Doesn't get logged as an assist, but should have been a goal/assist.

It would speak to the level of "unselfishness" that we were discussing.
If anyone other than the keeper is punting the ball, I would think they would be whistled for handball, no?

And if the keeper is punting the ball over her own net....

Congrats to SB making Utah. Nice to hear.

I would agree CT is the real deal, but so is CH. Both great players and both will do well at next level. Which one is better? Probably depends on day and who is marking them.

Will be a lot of fun to see them both and multiple Oregon girls at the next level in the next two years. Lots of girls going on to play D-1 in the Pac12 and around the country.

Looks like SE met their match tonight. They go down 2-0 to MS. JHS beating West right now 3-0.

                  Well well well

Look who made it to the Finals. MS beating SE good job for making a lot of people on here eat crow.

Ouch okay wasn’t expecting MS to beat SE but MS got the easy street to the final. Prediction Jesuit 8 MS 0 in the final

If you don’t count Jesuit, Mountainside or West Salem, South Eugene is the state champion.

Nope the team that made it final is considered winner regardless so congrats MS

Can I just say though how about a round of applause to CH that girl is so good she was messing around tonight against west and showed us the most entertainment with her skill.

Due to the new pay to play rules and recruiting, Jesuit gets an *asterisk next to all their wins.

Mountainside are the 2019 Oregon Champs. Congratulations girls!

Asterisk that is pretty funny OSAA is actually circulating draft rules that would stick all non-boundary private schools in their own bracket. Makes a lot of sense.

Yeah. Been saying it for years. Funny part is the boys team got beat so early despite all their cheating.
