Not sure why you posted u16 when I said u20. I also never said she was rostered but invited to the U20 national camp in late August

So who is rostered on the u20's?

No clarification or indication if this mystery person might of went or might go to a 'camp,' Only have your ambiguous statement to go on.

Why would anyone put a kids name on this creepy chat room?

We see US National team players names on this site and every site in the world every day.
Making a national team is not creepy or something that will go unnoticed. Actual achievement rises above this cesspool of delusional parents.

What's sick are the idiot parents spending thousands on useless travel to basically keep con men employed and guess what when all is said and done the kid doesn't even play in college.

If that was my kid that went through this type of travel charade it would be an embarrassment of course, why would I put their name up for consumption on any website. It's more revealing than creepy, that's why I don't want to be exposed for doing this not money well spent escapade. Tootles.

The con (wo)men are slick, I don't blame the victims (parents).

Soccer is a ton of fun. I love watching my DS and DD play for their high schools in the fall and their clubs in Winter and Summer.

They aren't good enough for the next level and never even considered it. Probably because they aren't very good :)!!!!

The thorns have struggled to bring in top players. You can guess at the reasons why but it’s really not a big deal. Don’t think anyone cares much anymore.

I like how the top schools have all seemed to schedule hard non-league games.

If they were non catholic would you worry more or less?
Obviously a lot of people care about Jesuit (including you) because every other post mentions Jesuit (including yours)

Parents are getting smarter. Everyone told their player is $pecial sooner or later these parents realize they are not and the $cam is to pay for somebody to have a job.

For the 1-2 players that actually are, different story.

But it's really not about development, it's about securing a job coaching $occer.

For the 1-2 that actually have what it takes, they need players to help them get the best competition they can to actually develop. Around here, or most places, their is really only a handful, not even enough for a full squad. So this lie to tell dupe and fraud other parents to make a team to travel to play the other 1-2 players.

For 99.9999999% of all parents and players, play OYSA TTL because it's a lot of fun and play for your HS team because that's an experience you'll only get one chance at.

If you are actually WNT talent then that is a real decision for you and your family. If you are going to trade your youth for that. Some do, good for them. But some do and never make it and that is a tragedy.

                        Seriously what are the odds?

Again, no one cares about a potentially sicko filled catholic school that probably would lose to any random club team.

                        Just the facts.
Again obviously you care a lot about Jesuit. How many times have you posted the same thing about Jesuit?

I care about Jesuit. I'm not a 6A parent so it might seem I don't have a dog in the fight but here's where I do. And I have an issue with Woodburn also.

HS Soccer is about the experience. And for most kids the highest level they'll ever play. Not as relevant as Football or Basketball but it's growing and a big part of the youth experience. Playing for your hometown against kids from their hometown.

Jesuit and other schools have an advantage over others. Although out of district transfer has changed this some what (Clackamas Football). Clearly when you beat every other 6A school by 8 goals it can seem a bit defeating. But on the positive side maybe these other schools lift their game?

I'm sure a lot of 4A schools were disappointed Woodburn who had won something like 9 of the last 10 5A championships got to drop down to 4A - but I think what you saw is some teams realize they just had to get better.

Look at Jesuit's record the last 10 years or so. Last year's scores were somewhat of an anomaly. All of this goes in cycles. Lincoln had a good run and so did Sunset HS. I know Sunset did not win by how many finals and final 4s have they been in.

Before 1994 they had ZERO state championships in girls soccer.

Good for Jesuit to be that good. It would be nice to see other teams compete.

And a 5A back to back to back champions dropping down does seems a bit backwards but it is Woodburn so....
