Girl who went from Sherwood and switched to mountainside had a very bad attitude and lacked soccer skills, which in turn the coach only gave her a few minutes of playing time last year which is why she chose to switch to mountainside and proclaim herself as good. They will learn the hard way.

I did see the game. You might be right about the lucky offsides goal in the first half but your incorrect about them playing their jv players. I’m very familiar with the varsity roster and I saw them in the whole game. Nice try, and I don’t know many bad coaches who would throw in a bunch of jv players in a game so close anyway.

Jesuit did play a Washington team last year who is consistently in top 4 of Washington. Score was 6-1

Cameron Brink was in MS district last year. Going to southridge is closer to cheating, but it is not because she followed the rules
Cheating means giving a school an advantage any other school doesn’t have all for the sake of money! My opinion anyway. Rules don’t make it right. If any of us soccer parents had the money our kids would easily play for Jesuit and always get the privilege we don’t deserve of saying our kid and our team is the best! I give much more kudos to the schools who do things ethically and not try to buy our kids futures.

No doubt Jesuit staff can identify talent themselves, but this comment highlights the incestuous connections in our local soccer world. Even if KL did not actually give a recommended list, which for the record, I could totally see him weighing in with opinions, it just is sick to think of how big money drives youth soccer- high school and club. Sad.
Funny if you think KL has any influence at UofJ

            What is offsides?

Rather than admit defeat let’s blame a call.

The game was not all that close. We all knew that Sherwood could not score. Go back to the video and see who played. Half were not starters

OK let’s start making up our own definition on cheating and ethical.

If your kids can easily play for Jesuit then why do their teams keep losing and losing badly?

Taking playing time away usually solves bad attitude issues. We have a bad attitude selfish player but she’s pretty good otherwise. Unfortunately the coach plays her anyway and her selfish toxic attitude and play ruins the team. Everyone wishes she would move. Maybe MS would take her!

Yeah yeah yeah we know we know Jesuit is just too good to have a close game with anyone. Just glad it won’t ever cost me thousands a year to carry around such ego.

Jesuit University is a club team that plays in a rec league. Literally.

Why anyone there thinks HS trophies are worth gloating about, is beyond me.

Only one that thinks that is Jesuit parents. Listening to their comments here seems to me their pretty proud.

                        You should consider:

                        ENGLISH
The student of English at Jesuit High School will learn to use those language skills which foster a love of literature and ensure competence in reading, writing, thinking, listening, and speaking. Such competence is a basis for a more important goal

It appears humility is not taught to the parents in the hallowed halls at the UofJ.

Like most UofJ parents you probably did not attend school at UofJ. Sending your child to this school is a compensating mechanism for a self diagnosed adolescence slight. Kinda Sad, you keep on beating the UofJ drum though....

Dude, it's a private school. Even though it's not as expensive as OES or Catlin, between the tuition and the academic qualifications for admission, the riff-raff ain't getting in the front door--and if it does, it's far more easily thrown out.

                              Apples and oranges.

I got good grades in college in english and writing. You’re mad at one grammatical error thinking you can tell me to take english? Oh never mind, I must of needed to go to Jesuit to have actually learned anything.
