With open events in the Summer, tournaments can't promote they are getting the best DA or best non DA clubs. Club teams are all free to decide what tourneys they go to. So a head to head break down of DA vs Non DA clubs is skewed and not a reliable data point. But great for random discussion.

In the end the top clubs in then nation remain at the top regardless if they were accepted into DA or play USYS/US Club. Yes, Oregon remains Oregon.

No matter how great the teams are they match up with. We aint winning any of em(Big Showcases or Tourneys)

So cal says ecnl is doing better. So cal knows better than us. Either way, So cal ecnl and gda and regular club teams are beating us as always.

In Oregon USYS clubs teams do better than the clubs that aren't DA or the two neighborhood clubs that opt for travel with the US Club assortment.

Just do a couple of obscure gotsoccer tournaments, get a few points and get into Surf now. It was pretty awesome back when it wasn’t basically just another pay to play.

CU does just fine against SOCAL teams.. CU no fear!!

They beat the worst team in their SilverLakes flight, #16 of 16 & then got to play a 'b' team and beat them.

They couldn't score vs. the N. Cal team that finished bottom of their 'champions' league pool of 4 teams.

Play somebody that is elite and tell us how that goes.

My research shows that you're full of sh!t. ECNL teams own GDA teams and non-GDA teams when they play head to head.

This is something college coaches tell players all the time. It’s more surprising to me that anyone would scoff at this.

Agreed. Pace of play is a common critique from coaches especially of players on teams not playing in higher divisions (ie DA or ECNL). Why would the Oregon United folks doubt that? Coach telling them otherwise?

The top division gets the most coaches but the 2nd and lower divisions still get plenty of college coaches coming to watch. ***c 02s are all but 4 already committed and the other Oregon teams at surf will probably all be committed by the end of summer. You have to be really really good to get into surf at any level. You have to have a lot of got soccer points.
