Seriously man, stop embarrassing yourself. Not sure what axe you feel you need to grind here, but you come across as a petty fool. Whats skin do you have in this game? Or, do you just need a place to anonymously troll?

Why does the Timbers for profit keep coming up? They are not an OYSA Club, they don't have team. They provided league management for one of several leagues within OYSA. This for profit club also provides FREE soccer for their boys DA program (at great expense) and subsidized for the girls DA.

      Thank you Timbers !

        Isn't Huracan SCA ?
Yes but they will need to change the names to Soccer Chance Academy like they just did on the Lake Oswego cup schedule. Goes to show the “Huracan” bit was a total farce given how quickly they disassociated themselves from the brand entirely.

LO schedule still shows IFC Hurican/Soccer Chance Academy.

If IFC & SCA had their OYSA cards pulled for 2019/20, and old cards expire on July 31st, how are they playing in Mt. Hood?

All SCA players have US club soccer cards.

They also have punch cards for private training.

I think the OP hit the nail on the head. Did he not? Did SCA think they could play in OYSA as a “for profit”?

This is interesting. Spill the details OYSA.
Do the Timbers make any revenue off running OYSA leagues?

They are paid to run the leagues.

Does a gas station get any revenue for pumping gas?

Good God your are an idiot.

So is half the team from SCA and the other half from IFC Huracan?

Timbers are a for-profit organization and OYSA has rules about working with for-profits so I doubt it.

I hope they make a profit

I would hope they make a profit. They are offering a service and they are a for profit organization. Unlike the clubs that make up the association the vendors are not required by the bylaws to be a non profit.

If clubs want to be for profit they simply need to join US Club and play in one of their leagues.

Wow, this argument sure gets old. Non profits use for profits all of the time. It makes sense, for profits are efficient with the goal of maximizing profits, they are not concerned with the social agenda, where the non-profits are guided by the benefit they provide the community.

Can we end this discussion now. SCA, go to US Club. Should have been your plan to start with since you are for profit. Geez the OYSA rules are right on the web site !
