My neighbors club is one of them and has been terrorizing the daylights out of the top teams in tournaments around the state.....get off the bandwagon. OYSA and the clubs that run with them won't even shake hands with unknown teams that school them. You're definitely a part of the wrong culture. Stop talking about the same bull every day .... it's pathetic.

Oh fun note, most your club coaches don't even know how player recruiting works...you know for the chosen few that get to play professionally. Most kids that have gone to reputable clubs outside of America do it on their own because their coach doesn't know squat...keep sucking on OYSA.
Which club is this that smacks everybody and produces professionals?

This person posted at the same time on another thread. I’d say he was on his lunch break but I already know he doesn’t really have a job.

This is great. Those amazing leagues outside of OYSA, yep they are killing it !!!! Sending kids to college and advancing the individual to new levels they couldn't even imagine. And the pro scouts love these leagues ! This is so sad. College is the main destination for a youth soccer player in America. Off set some of your tuition with an academic scholarship is pretty cool at any level, JC, NAIA, NCAA II or if you are really good D1. When you are done playing getting a great job and having a wonderful life. Thank you OYSA and the clubs that participate. Lets name a few with a great track record of sending kids to college, Westside, Eastside, Washington, Oregon Premier, PCU, Eugene and FC Portland come to mind. Thank you to these clubs for excellence !!

If you go out into Hillsboro or East County or the Willamette Valley, it's not hard to find unregistered Latino clubs that are quite good.

However, I'm not aware of any of these entering summer tournaments and/or "smacking everyone around". If someone wishes to correct me, and point to an example of such a club playing in a recent tournament and beating the registered clubs, I'd appreciate it.

Quite a few kids who play in these sorts of clubs ALSO are playing in OYSA clubs, and their OYSA coach is either looking the other way or is unaware of this.

No Shenanigans, FC (ehemmm IFC) Huracan hired the SCA coaches “on paper” and even hosted a phony “tryout” a few weeks ago for the SCA players so they can try and pass it through OYSA that they are playing for Huracan. Everything lines up on paper except the player registration dues went into SCA coaching pockets, and of course no real board accountability except from the SCA parent who is sitting on the IFC board.

IFC has been dissolved. Better luck next time, they say.

Regardless what you think about this club, you gotta admit this is getting a bit comical for sure.

I mean this in the least negative way possible - clown cars, think clown cars.

What an incredibly boring thread. Any chance of a soccer forum discussing soccer?

Well there is the game on the field and the game off the field. They are both the game of soccer.
