Yes, 2017-18. Some went to FC. One of their top players moved out of the area. One of the 08s who was playing up, dropped back to playing on age (he is a very good player, but small even by 08 standards). But the team was decimated after the 2018 State Cup.
This year they are looking much better. Some new kids in; and SE is a great coach who will see them improve significantly. They were, overall, a much better team at the end of last season than they were at the start.
He seems like a nice guy and a huge contrast to the 06 coach.

Dude, even the 2017-18 team wasn't that good. As I recall, they didn't go anywhere at State Cup in 2018, prior to losing half their team. And while getting thumped 12 to 0 might be a reflection on player ability, disorganization and never playing out the back goes back to the coach.

IIRC, they were very good for much of the season (WT parent, but no 07s) but fell apart towards the end of the season. Why, depends on who you ask, and I'm not going to get into that here; but this helped lead to both the early State Cup exit and the exodus of quite a few players.
Needless to say, there is a rebuilding job in progress. Given that SE has done an excellent job with the 05s, I have quite a bit of confidence that the 07s will be vastly improved and continue to do so. The measure of a coach is how much his or her players improve, and based on this metric, the dude can flat-out coach.

Too early to even quantify or qualify, as to the type of coach he will become, but his padre is perhaps one of the best recruiters to grace this state. Sounds like that may of rubbed off.
Who knows were discussing a random local club tournament results.

I’m actually shocked that MJ, JS and Mark Evans haven’t created a club together. Could you imagine the recruiting vortex created by these clowns. They don’t have a clue how to develop but they are masters at selling their ways to attract top players.
Dude, west sides 07 girls would give SCA 07 boys a good game
SCA 2007 Boys has a bunch of girls and 2008/2009 kids on it so expectations aren’t too high. I would be most concerned if I was on United 2007. They went to Salem tournament last weekend and got smoked by all the Salem clubs. Finished 4th out of 6 teams. The last 2 teams are basically rec. BM should be ashamed.

Not at United, and no big fan of BM, but can we say deflection? Also, if expectations aren't so high, why did that SCA team play in the super group?

This is to be expected from BM team. He doesn’t teach the game correctly. He recruits athletic players that can apply high pressure all over the field which is very successful in the 9V9 format. The 11v11 format is much more complex and requires players with brains. That would mean that BM would of had to of taught those kids how to play the game correctly . BM Should be a college coach we’re recruiting is 90% of the job.

1. Having 09’s playing 11v11 is a sign of incompetence. If JS was as good as everyone says he is than one would think that a 9 year old shouldn’t be playing on the 11v11 pitch. This is a complete fail and should raise major red flags.
2. I talked to the parents. They had way higher expectations and that is why they are in the Super Group.
I really feel bad for those kids. The circus only has a few spots for actors to do cool tricks. There’s a lot of kids that will be heartbroken when they aren’t picked for the circus.
Good news is the young ones can do their elementary schools talent show. It’s fun to show the 30 different Panna moves to your peers.

😂 Love this guy. Has the audacity to speak with such authority as well. The fact your asking these types of questions without realising what the answer could possibly be is hilarious.

There’s no way this really happened. An 09 playing 11v11 is a big fail. JS is a jackass if this is true. Can someone verify?
