Most of the Nations elite clubs are in the DA. Glad some are returning to usys and us club leagues.

Those leagues have suffered way too much.

About 1/3 of the top players in the US are on the DA and many are leaving due to the high school ban. Like it or not girls like to play high school.

Never an issue for Oregonians since we don't have elite local clubs, coaches or players. Oregonians continue to enjoy HS and play with the neighborhood club. The DA platform does not reach into our local clubs. All is good.

True, never a local issue. The elite players in Oregon never ventured into the DA program due to the high school restriction.

If we had elite clubs they would of been accepted into DA, but as expected US Soccer turned down all of our local clubs applications in 2016/17.

Saying Oregon has elite players is a relative term and very disingenuous to actual elite players.

How many applied? It's not public knowledge. Perhaps clubs knew their customers wouldn't want it, or the clubs themselves didn't want it.

Only 2 clubs applied, both turned down. Common knowledge. They are welcome to re apply each year, they haven't. They both would prefer you stop asking questions about their application rejections from 2 years ago. Giving up HS was not an issue to them, they just didn't want to get left in the void that US Club became after the DA rapture. Can't fault them for doing what they thought was in their best interest, US Soccer knew best in this case.

Not part of this discussion, but FC never completed the application. One of the better decisions they ever made.

How much longer can FC Portland ECNL last with their terrible record in a watered down league?

For some strange reason the top female players want to represent their school and have people come and cheer for them. it's ridiculous.

The U15 U16/17 teams were dead last. U15's gave up something like 97 goals in 27 games.

Nice, FC and Thorns DA competing for the worse record.

FC takes the cake with three ECNL age groups not having a single win this year, ouch!
CU is doing very well with majority of the age groups.

Average players belong in HS all is perfect in Oregon.

The oldest GDA team is pretty good too. Hopefully the younger teams got better. It is better for all Oregon girls if the GDA does well. Same with ecnl and our travel teams from OYSA. Sad that people are always rooting for other teams to lose and leagues to fall apart.
