I'm sorry US Clu, by it's charter and mission must accept all players and clubs that register for them. Sorry you didn't know that. Same goes for USYS.

US Soccer is the home of the US National teams they can be selective by design and function.

Just an aside brainwashing is curable but you won't recoup and travel monies spent.

There is a difference between "registering with us club" and joining ECNL.

How about Michigan Jaguars for Michigan Hawks.

I heard that Issaquah Gunners will be the replacement for Crossfire Premier.
I wonder if thorns will be relegated as basement dwellers? Replace with Hillsboro or Eastside powerhouses.

This is just a factually inaccurate statement. More colloquially known as a lie.

BeenVerified that USYS AYSO & US Club must accept all that register.

              Unless they fail background check.

Because of the language in the USSF bylaws, primarily because of federal law and USOC rules, the USSF would also have to be open to other member affiliates as well that have open registration practices of the USYS, see: AYSO & US Club who tested these waters and were granted membership by USSF (aka US Soccer) Nothing like attacking the hand that created you US Club. Hilarious.

When USYS lost a few club teams to the GDA it wasn't even a drop in the bucket given their scope and size. On the other hand the tiny US Club ecnl was gutted to it's core and had to recruit teams below the level of the Oregon fodder clubs, just to stay afloat. They couldn't survive unless they accepted 50 or more teams asap in 2017, guess what they decided to accept 'b' & 'c' teams from the clubs that had moved up to the DA and then reached into even more remote areas of the country's to clubs that would help fill the massive void left after the DA rapture. Regardless of club quality or standard.

                  This history is documented.
That was a really strange post

Is that why Slammers, Crossfire, and PDA left DA to join ECNL? Was that by design?

It was some mouth breathing parent repeating garbage said from a Timbers coach.

Even OYSA doesn’t have to accept all clubs that register. Several have been denied recently. Pull your head out.

Most of the elite girls want to play high school soccer. Who knows why, but that is a big reason for moving to ECNL.

Pick a reason(s) why they left (multiple answers allowed)

                            1) They thought it was worth giving GDA a try but it wasn't living up to the hype
                            2) They discovered it was difficult to run quality teams in two leagues so they picked one
                            3) They decided to go with the league that makes them more money
                            4) They were listening to their customers
                            5) it was all an evil plot by ECNL to undermine GDA

In general, I don't know of too many people who are happy with the US Soccer Federation's job performance.

The GDA is worse because it is run by the most under qualified people at US Soccer. Most of these people could not get a job at the top soccer clubs in the country. That is a fact. Just look at their jobs before the GDA was created.

Why would any club want to be part of the GDA?

                                1) ECNL is cheaper to run. Shorter season, fewer technical requirements, fewer license requirements.
                                2) high school soccer
                                3) ECNL now bans clubs from doing both.
