    not even close to reality.

the best of the best play in da, look at the national youth teams rosters nearly all boy and girls come from da clubs.

can’t agree with fiction, but your imagination is refreshing & stupefying at the same time.

travel on, Garth! Travel on Wayne!

Can you call it a national league if it's not really national?

Having more (definitely not all) NT players doesn't make GDA a top league. It just means more of them have congregated there, some due to pressure to join even if their local DA club sucks. A league's quality is driven by the quality of players, teams and competition overall, not how many unicorns it has.

Also when it comes to discussing DA, BDA is entirely different than GDA. That is something USSF has failed to understand from the get go, despite the need being there to do something to up the women's side. BDA is clearly the leader. Yet even that league has faults and if they lose MLS it will be a big blow. BDA is 11 years old and we no longer qualify for international events that we used to. USSF needs a major reassessment of what it's goals and strategies are. But with a financial nonsoccer guy in charge I no longer believe they care that much about the actual soccer part

Look at Crossfire Premier DA record vs. Reign DA and Thorn DA.

These are NWSL club backed DA programs. Path to the pros.

I agree with you on the boy's da is where most of the talent is on the boy's side.

It is a different animal on the girl's side. Girls care about HS soccer and more on going to college than a soccer career.

With regards to National Team rosters, who do you think picks the roster for the youth national teams. Do you think they may be a little biased towards DA??

When was the last time any Oregon ECNL team beat Mustang ECNL. Thank you GDA.

              In Oregon that’s certainly true.

In Oregon, that's like arguing over who is the fattest guppy in the fish tank.

Tough to agree with something that is false, unless being a liar is your thing.

Furthermore using words like most talent in Oregon is slander if spoken and libelous when written.

Oregon boasts no DA local club(s) the two that applied were rejected by US Soccer a few years ago.

Unfortunately girls really care about high school. Parents seem to value balance.

I do understand the desire to do high school. Grandparents don’t usually come to club games but they line up for high school games, for whatever reason. Same with peers. Some schools get a really good turn out and come on you have to admit that is pretty fun.

The ban on high school soccer is the first place I would look to try to improve gda.

True but most of Oregon’s best soccer hippies stayed in ecnl or on their OYSA club team and a few tried gda, started & played all game, and then left back to their club team. A few of the best guppies did go to academy and stay but a minority in the state. Pros & cons to each league and team. Pick the best one for your child and enjoy. They all have the same endpoint.

The Thorns Academy has OYSA "B" team players. Why are we even talking about this?

Thorns/Timbers are the only entity allowed in the DA from Oregon.

Rest is kusy club fare nonsense. No pun intended.

This is so frustrating. Why aren’t they willing to sacrifice?

Even B team players deserve to get to play soccer too. They are people too.
