Not sure why, but few of the good northwest teams enter. Girls 05 only had 6 teams, you can't say those are the six best teams in the northwest? It's probably good experience for teams not in the DA or ECNL. Not a lot of other opportunities out there.

If the DA and ecnl teams don’t enter to play, most of the best players and teams are absent. That would make the competition poor.
