The two you mention are girls' teams. Now go away, Dad.
The Thorns don’t play in a good league so they don’t get into the discussion. Sorry but the NWSL is not very good and in many cases you have maybe a thousand people at away games. Many players barely make enough to afford food, much less rent on in Portland.
Jesuit 2018 is a team for the record books. GOAT? Who knows. Onyx was good but unless you play the game hard to say.
Since the dawn of the little DA this forum has been taken over by soccer geeks; they tend to pay less attention to girls soccer and questions such as these.
Liberals are rich snooty brats who think cause they went to law school or doctor school and got lucky to make a bunch of dough that they are somehow smarter than us. I call BS. Money don't make you better. Reading a bunch of books don't make you smarter.
Lebron is a lib and so is Jordan. I will take Dennis Rodman who is a solid maga.

Yeah, liberals are dummies for working hard in school to become a lawyer or doctor instead of failing into a job a McDonald's. They are stupid because they don't have to complain about how much ECNL costs and can just pay team fees, tuition, or whatever from petty cash. Liberal are so stupid, that instead of complaining about additional costs or taxes, they foolishly go out and make more money.
It is time to ask the question of what team is the GOAT in Women's local soccer history.
Is it Jesuit 2018 or the "ONYX" ???
Need to hear facts not feelings !
Tough to compare HS to club, but Onyx would roll this 2018 Jesuit team. BTW this team at Jesuit isn’t even close to being the best team at Jesuit. I know they have won 3 titles in the last 4 years, but several years ago they ran off 4 titles in a row and I think they won around 160 games without a loss

You can't really compare club to HS because club is typically one grade and HS is four grades.
There were many clubs in the past that are for sure better than Onyx and better than this Jesuit team. Personally I thought THUSC Neon was better than Onyx. Before Neon there were several FC Clubs that were better than Neon.
The years that Jesuit won 4 in a row without a loss was over 20 years ago. Soccer in Oregon has gotten a little more sophisticated and widespread since then.
Also, when you are talking about a team, you need to take one season since Year 1 is going to be a much different team than Year 4. It was not a single group of players who accomplished the 4 year run. There were for sure individual players who accomplished this , but not a team since they will graduate players from previous years. Jesuit graduated 9 players from last years team and they will graduate 6 or 7 players from this years team. Next years team will be much different than last year's team.
The whole idea of comparing best team is actually pretty silly. It is like comparing Bill Russell vs. Olajuwon vs. Karem. They all played at different time periods on different teams vs. different competition.
Statistically this year's team was dominant in terms of GF and GA. I can't really say they are better or worse than team's of the past.
