It is much different, but unfortunately most of Oregon's talent is going elsewhere.

Just because it is different does not mean people will go to it.

Thorns suck, that is why you're on this forum whining like an abandoned pup. You put your kid in an invisible program. Now get back to calling customers!

With at least 8 players committed to play in college and more club players that are uncommitted, Clackamas has more talent than most teams.... including maybe Jesuit. Clackamas has enough talent to beat most teams even on a bad day. Clackamas has more talent than the Thorns Academy.

It is not losing to Jesuit that was the embarrassment, but the way the game was lost. The talent level between Clackamas and Jesuit is not 8-0.

Less than 24 hours removed from the loss, you have parents coming on here airing out the dirty laundry on the AD, players, coach, etc...

It does not take a genius take a genius to recognize that the kids did not play for each other. If they did play for each other then with that talent level there is no way that game is 8-0.

They always have been non factors. Parents of these players are the only ones who think their little Suzy’s are relavent. There is a lack of integrity, loyalty, commitment and character amongst this group.Take a look at those seniors most of them have been at 3-4 clubs minimum during their high school career (the DA was just a quick stop on their journey) Once things aren’t going their way or they get what they need they move on.

The talent between Jesuit and Clackamas is even if you really looked into the roster.

I really think that as well. Hard to convince Clackamas parent otherwise but there are some really, really good girls on that Jesuit team too. Are they gonna play college soccer? Maybe, maybe not. Chances are they will go on and become doctors or lawyers or business leaders. They may not ALL have college scholarships but most of those Jesuit girls have been playing at a high level, for several years. Maybe not at the DA level (wink wink) but still have played for quality clubs and most have traveled and know/understand what a big game is all about. Not tied into Jesuit or affiliated with Jesuit at all but know a lot of those girls and families and have watched them grow as players over the last 5-7 years.
My daughter has played against most of them via club soccer and club basketball.

Again, hard to convince the "our team walks on water" Clackamas parents of that otherwise.....

Your opinion may be tainted, but even if true, soccer is a team game. And your team was walloped Saturday night. I was following on the OSAA stream. Clackamas didn't look any better than any other team this year. Accept your defeat and move on.

True. They are only as good as the people they can convince to show up and I’ve seen the roster and it’s pretty average. I’m sure the coaching is good.

Clackamas has more talent than Jesuit. Just a couple lucky bounces was the difference.

The 8-0 Final reminded me of the 7-1 Germany win over Brazil in 2014 World Cup Semi-Final, with Brazil as the host nation. On paper, what should've been a classic game was far from that with Germany scoring five goals in the opening 30 minutes of the game.

Sometimes great teams do not show up, and the other can be at their best. That's the beauty in playing the game.

Jesuit was superior, leaving no doubt who the best team in the state is. Congratulations to Jesuit on a remarkable season! Congratulations to Clackamas on a great season, even coming up short in the Final!

They can say they have equal talent or more talent or bad coaches or a foolish AD...whatever. The scoreboard read 8-0 and that is an absolute beat down in every phase of the game.

Clackamas lost in spectacular fashion and that is what the history books will remember.

Those lucky bounces will get you every time.

                            The better TEAM won.

Jesuit went 19-0 even while some of their players got “food poisoning” this year, but after their trip to Seattle they recovered quickly

You are sounding sort of desperate.

Almost as desperate as the Clackamas parent who threw half his team, coach, and AD under the bus this morning.
