It’s not Jesuits fault that OSAA let’s them play in the same league with public schools. The only thing Jesuit should be blamed for is IF they leave the starters in. After they are up 3-0, the entire bench should be in or they have no morals. After 5-0, Jesuit should be pulling field players, only shooting after 20 passes and every player should be playing with non dominant foot. This might even make it more fun for the Jesuit players. It must get boring taking candy from babies. Maybe OSAA should put Jesuit in 7A by themselves? Until then, the shellackings will continue.

just for a little review, Jesuit came to play tonight and Clackamas left their midfield at home.
I find it amazing that after all the boasting and bragging about how great the mid field is they forgot how to play and totally let the entire team down.
It would be nice if the forwards could find the back of the net but without the support of the midfield they are left ganging. the clackamas keeper should hang her head in shame about 4 of the goals that Jesuit scored because she cannot hold a ball, just slaps it back to Jesuit for a score or out for a corner. embarrassing.
the defense was working hard until their anchor was injured, then the whole team fell apart.
one person does not make a team, the coach is a joke! Manuel Martinez has zero leadership ability and is manipulated by parents who constantly chirp in his ears and fill his emails with advise that, due to his ignorance as a soccer coach and failure as a leader. He is easily swayed by anyone who chirps into his ear or threatens to complain to the AD.
I have watched the Clackamas soccer program for years, I have seen the good and the bad. even though this group of girls has had an amazing season, this was due to the defense and the forwards. it was in spite of the midfield, the DA players and the friction, animosity and back stabbing of the DA parents.

Plenty of better all around talent on teams that don't have players paying thousands to take an end of year photo to pretend their dd is good or better than any other players in public school. I'm not a clackamas parent but after seeing both teams ironically clackamas was three to four times more talented than Jesuit.
I guess IQ is important in soccer.
From your post, parents are paying thousands of dollars to be on an inferior Jesuit teams, but somehow Jesuit is still winning.

UofJ's forwards are fast and can finish. #5, #8,#7 are better then any player we have. Game went as it was going to go and nothing was going to change the result. This shouldn't take away from the year Clackamas had, girls had a great season and seniors should be proud. Jesuit coach in my opinion is a classless punk in the athletic world for leaving starters in till end and runing score up but I liked that our coach put all the seniors in at end to finish the season. This result will sting for awhile and my kid will be down for a long time. Let's be a better community than this and build these kids.

Jesuits coach is a joke. Anyone who knows anything about HS soccer will tell you that HS coaches are no better than a nanny.
Jesuits coach happens to lack character among his nanny duties.
