I hope CU 03's can pull it out today and finish top of their group. They would match up with San Diego Academy in the semis. It would be awesome for 2 teams from Oregon to beat the defending Surf champs from San Diego in the past couple months. I am sick of hearing people on this board say the OR can't match up with the best SoCal teams.

The tie against the Hawaiian team is pretty impressive. Looks like they were finalists for the USYS Region IV championships. Good work CU!

I don’t wish to rain on your parade but Albion SC DA just beat San Diego Academy in the Albion Showcase. SD Academy is the reigning SD Surf Cup non DA champions and Albion DA is a mid table team in their conference.Sorry!

The girls will go on and play Soccer due to title ix and the abundant funding, the league the club team plays in has nothing to do with title ix realities, or placement in college.

SDSC does not have a girls US Soccer DA program. This same team did however place third in the USYS National League. GPS 03s places 2nd in that same league.
