That's for sure. GDA only has 3 letters so clearly it's not nearly as good as ECNL.

DA doesn't cost 5 figures a year, like our local travel clubs.

Youth leagues like the US Club one geared for teenage girls allow parents to fly their kids all over the place, without ever playing for anything more than airline miles. It's a travel league, for the sake of travel, so be it.

The DA isn't a USYS or US Club type of league it's a US Soccer development platform directed by the leadership of our National teams.


None of our clubs are worthy of being selected for the DA platform and this reality is tough to swallow. Oh well.
