I highly doubt the Thorns get 10% of the top players. Jesuit and Clackamas both are much stronger rosters. That is just 2 teams.

Eastside doesn’t have thorns academy. It’s a name change for girls’ teams. Girls, thorns. Boys Timbers. Still oysa teams for girls. Get it?

Pretty certain that the Westside Timbers that are administering the thorns Academy. There was an announcement that you can find if you google it.

Yes Eastside it the Thorns now. But so is the Thorns run by Westside that plays in the travel league. Unnecessarily confusing to me.

I was thinking of having my kid join the Thorns Academy so wasn’t sure if that’s east or west side. Heard they need help. What if the kid hasn’t played much soccer? Is that a deal breaker? I tried to tell her how offsides works but she is either playing dumb or is actually dumb like her father. Either way if she can go national team and thorns pro team that would win me some social media material. Not much else to brag about so trying to hit this now.

You don’t need to know offsides penalties to be successful in soccer . That is for american football. When offensive back players move off on the sides.
