GDA is nearly exactly the same as Ecnl and both have terrible teams in the leagues.

Both are not synonymous with the best.

Both have teams that aren't even close to best in their states.

Both cater to gullible people.

Both would fail miserably without their patches.

Wow. Between Burlingame and PSV Union, those two clubs have a negative -575 goal differential in a short 25 game season! That is a ton of balls to be fishing out of the back of the net. Have you ever watched a game where it is a 12-0 loss? You spend 70% of the game walking back to the restart. An entire season of walking back to restart.

They should set up a PA system and blast some dance music during the game to let the kids dance during restarts. It might slow the pace of the game and bring it down to 0-10 losses. Just a light hearted suggestion maybe they will take.

Might take the sting out of the blistering losses.

the thorns are barely hovering above burlingame on the standings. if they let the kids play high school sports they very well might just get some better athletes and soccer players. free the kids to play. #endtheban

This is not about getting the best athletes or even the best soccer players. That is completely missing the point. The point is for kids to want to focus intently on soccer and eliminate distractions. US Soccer has several good documents outlining the program and even the Thorns kids soccer staff have put together a program document that best explains it.
