For the 06/07 weekend there are 5 teams registered at the moment. Plenty of chatter coming from additional groups, and registration is expected to pick up next week after tryouts/team placements have wrapped up. Thanks!

Why not have it outdoors? It's the Summer and all you need is a basketball court/tennis court with goals and a futsal ball. Cut the costs of renting out an expensive basketball training facility and get more people involved.

Thank you for the suggestion. Certainly in the long term plans, though the timing wasn't right to add pricey outdoor liability coverage just for a few smaller events this summer.

There have been inquiries about this. Lots of myth out there concerning non soccer-related activities (which includes Futsal). Players entering DA are welcome to participate. If we're not mistaken, DA doesn't officially start it's year until August anyway.
