College showcase playing time

Not always true. It depends on the player's academics and her college interests to find the right fit. How many players will the recruiters be looking for in 2019 and 2020? They are looking at the 04s right now and even 03s. I just spoke to a couple of recruiters about this topic at yesterday's games.

As someone else said if you're on a team not playing everyone, then it's the wrong coach, wrong club. Your fees and travel payments should not be looked at as totally to subsidize others, including the coach.

The showcases are meant to showcase players. How the team places is to benefit the reputation of the club, coaches, teams. A good coach will put you in for at least a few minutes.

Last thought. This is a great example of preparing for college play. You should be asking the club coach the question about playing time in showcases before you go to 2017/2018 tryouts. You would ask a college recruiter about playing time.

My bad. I meant '03, just finished U14. -Especially if someone is consistently seen via ODP, ID camps (if researched), Regionals/Nationals, IMG, NPL, ECNL events and has done the right prep work, you better she's being watched!
