Over 300 girls have pre registered with more walk ups expected. It's amazing the pull the DA and the Timbers/Thorns have to attract top talent for both boys and girls. Then again they are subsidizing the costs for the Dev. Academy. Good luck to all those trying out.

It's the current count per DA thorns staffers & coaches reporting. They need this count to get the fields set up and to hire enough evaluators for the event. Simply Logistics my friend.

Yeah, right. There won't be more than 20 show up for each age group, if that, and most of those will be rec players.

Sure it is. Post photos on here showing these 300 kids trying out. Bet you won't do it because then we'll have proof there were about 10x less than that.

I heard there are 12 signed up. 12 x $125 is a hell of a lot of money for a total of three hours of kick arounds.

Plus I heard they already offered spots to last years players then keep em around.
