Message from Eastside DOC
"Today, the Eastside Timbers community has the opportunity to grow and again help more kids play soccer. Thanks to an amazing donation by a local business, the club has been gifted a 12 acre piece of property. The vision for this property is to build a forever home for our kids to play at. Six acres of turf, with three lighted outdoor turf fields for the kids to play on all year round. A building with three futsal courts, gym, restaurant, pro shop, physical therapy clinic, and more. You could bring your kids to practice on Monday and get a workout in before they are done. Did your kids grow out of their shoes?...again... drop in to the pro shop and pick up a new pair. Wednesday you could enjoy a beverage and some food while your kids have indoor training, and Saturday come back with the whole family and catch the Timbers game together.
We are very close to officially breaking ground! The prep work is almost done, and the permit to start digging will be submitted this week! A project like this takes a community, and we can’t do it without you, our amazing parents and volunteers. Stay tuned for more information and ways you can help more kids play soccer!"
