Almost impossible to get an objective, fair read on here for that type of question, but at least 1 of those clubs was happy.

Impossible because you can't count the girls that were offered spots without attending. Why would they waste their time at a kick around?

Was out at first session of CU's tryouts, would say there were around 100 kids out there. When we were leaving the second session looked a little lighter but still quite large, maybe 75 kids?

Just a heads up of that 150+ number you saw across 5 age groups, 137 are registered for the NWSL Portland Thorns USDA program tryouts as well, based on exit poll last night.

                Should get interesting.

Tonight we do exit polls at FC PDX.

Selection 2017 for Oregon's finest girls.

There are at least 5 girls signed up for the NWSL Thorns Academy try outs.

                  That's $625 in tryout fees!

The ban on high school is hurting turn out for the NWSL Thorns.

Also the extreme unpopularity of the NWSL is hurting.

Ban on high school does nothing to 2004 & 2005, because they will be in 7th & 8th grade next year.

NWSL everywhere but Portland is not good. Playing on terrible field in front of 1,500 people is not much fun.

                              That's pretty good.

I thought US Soccer prohibited try out fees?
