No on the warm ups or any team gear the kids are in.
If you are over 40 and wear A warm up ever the douchbag factor is high. Unless of course you are in the Russian mafia, then it is all right.

Only if worn like an adult. If you turn them around, you tell the world you are a total d-bag.

None of it. Not even a car magnet/sticker. My kids and their teammates know we support them on the sidelines.

What about high school teams? Can we wear high school sweatshirts? And what about college gear? Can we wear that? Even if our kid isn't going to play for a college?

And does this rule just apply to soccer parents? Can we wear softball/baseball sweatshirts? What about football?

Personally, I think it's all terrible. We should hold a protest, vandalize businesses and shut down the freeways. It's the Portland way!

                This is a stupid thread.

Right? What is wrong with club spirit?

I wear club gear, adidas Samba shoes that I call "boots", refer to the field as a "pitch", tell people the score as "1-nil, 3-nil" or whatever when one of the teams didn't score a goal, and I do it all with my best imitation of an English accent. I then get in my car that is emblazoned in club stickers after the "match."

The best I ever saw was a dad that had a tattoo on his forearm of a soccer ball in the back of the net with his daughter's name on the ball. The guy had huge arms and it looked pretty ridiculous. His daughter was something like a U9 or 10. I tried to find something on the internet that looked like it. This is pretty close:
