Crossfire has made it public that rather than develop its 03s it's just going to dump them for several of HSC's gps girls since MJ Tate has done such a beautiful job developing them. They are all getting free rides subsidized by the benchwarmers they are keeping around. Pure genius. Only glitch is GPS girls will stagnate at Crossfire and everyone knows it. Same tragedy as the current Crossfire 03s.

Lots of girls reach their potential at 14 or 15 and just can't be developed any further so they need to be replaced by others who haven't peaked yet.

Thorns pro team has no money to subsidize anything. Timbers are funneling funds from OYSA league and tournament fees to pay for ground transportation for GDA away games.

If the Truth be told they are funneling the sellout gate receipts for Timbers & Thorns (matches) to the entire Oregon general public for consumption. They are paying it forward. As such Governor Kate Brown has decreed to rename both teams 'Portland Saints' hereafter.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler not surprisingly failed to work this into his occupy Portland budget.
