Exactly the reason why clubs will work against you. For that attitude alone speaks to the nature of the partnership

OYSA pays Peregrine to run the leagues and cups. Peregrine is free to do what it wants from whatever profit it gets from that.

Separately, Peregrine pays for DA and GDA.

No reason to assume that the income from the first is directly tied to the expense of the second--unless if you're a honk from a competing "elite" girls league trying to throw a wrench in the works by sowing discord. For all we know, the guys in 107 buying beer are paying for the GDA, and OYSA league/cup fees are paying for Diego Chara's salary.

      Again. Fungible. FUN-GI-BLE.
Come on, loosen the scarf around your neck, it is cutting off the blood flow...

Your club isn't in the DA pyramid that's all. These clubs feed Portland's MLS & NWSL DA's by structure and design. The rest of the clubs in our state have no such commitment, no listing of course. They aren't mandated to send their best. You made the right choice by not applying for the 'little' DA program and aren't impacted. Smart Move. It's nice of you to have sympathy for the clubs in the 'little' DA that chose to be part of this scam.

These clubs cannot say i,t as the are part of the Oregon branch of the DA and US Soccer would remove them from the program if they didn't believe in this philosophy. of sending your best to tryout for the DA program, in Oregon we only have 1 program with the Timbers/Thorns.

          FC Portland/NEU
          Crossfire Oregon
          BSC
          Wa Timbers
          Westside Timbers
          Eastside Timbers
          &
          Capital Timbers

I've seen no evidence of a public edict from any OYSA member club mentioning they DO NOT support sending their best players to the Timbers/Thorns DA Program.

So in this case the person attempting to spread falsehoods looks to be you,
These are all the clubs with little boys DA. Don't think it involves the girls. Luckily for those clubs, soccer talent identification is the extremely subjective. Big DA is extremely selective. Easy for a club coach to say none of his players are DA caliber.

These same Oregon & SW Wa clubs will be offered spots in the forthcoming little girls DA, US Soccer is builiding it's own infrastructure for development and competition, branching out on it's National level USDA to the emerging state and regional level little DA's.. It's happening all over the county. It's not being built to compete with a USYS or US Club league offerings. US Soccer is building it's vast DA program all over the US, so our National Teams can compete with other countries on planet earth.

Youth Clubs are applying hand over fist to get into the little DA's with the hope of someday becoming a Big DA in their market. Geography, talent pool + the dumb luck of having an MLS/NWSL team in our small PNW market has closed the door on the chance of any of our local clubs becoming a Big DA.

This is a US Soccer directive not the Portland MLS/NWSL invention.

Peregrine is now taking on new partners? Do tell.
