The greenest pastures are the ones full of manure. I don't see the Gps girls leaving, with perhaps an exception or two. How many times does your daughter need to be seen by scouts to show that she is good? And are you sure those scouts will be at any of her games? I didn't see scouts lining the field for the CU vs FC match and I don't anticipate it at Thorns GDA matches either.

You are correct that accounts don't come to games in Oregon, but they flock to the showcases, which GPS can't get in to.
ECNL and now possibly GDA has consolidated the talent for recruiters. It is a simple fact. If you want to play in college you have to be in front of the recruiters. ID camps are great for exposilure, but scouts want to see a kid play in competitive games.

They won't be looking at ECNL games unless your a Sophmore or Junior and they won't be looking at GDA games until then either. You can get better exposure by picking your top college choices and visiting the schools, meeting the coaches face to face, going to that colleges summer ID camp, and following up with the coach.

If you are buying into ECNL over the "showcase" exposure you are a fool.
