The DA coaches and parents on here are becoming worse then the Ecnl parents and coaches which I didn't think possible.

There are so many lies and propaganda being spewed by the DA lovers.

Crossfire to play A team in da?

Why in the world does that matter for Oregon clubs? Ecnl clubs in Oregon aren't even as good as crossfires B team and the DA is certainly not going to be better.

What a bunch of propaganda this is becoming.

Huh? Haven't we all read the endless propaganda about the quality of teams outside of Oregon in the old ECNL? Those clubs power was somehow magically rubbed off onto the Oregon Sisters of the Poor clubs they hammered. You mean that's not the case. This is confusing.

Oregon ECNL clubs will be more competive with other teams in our conference with XF having both ECNL and DA. At the end of the day, pick a team/club with the best fit.

Yes, Thornz Academy today is just a run of the mill horror story. Thornz GDA will be a complete tragedy.

Which is the better team in each age group will depend on which players want to pursue with option. Crossfire is not forcing anyone to play GDA if they prefer ECNL. With the relative weakness of the GDA division that Crossfire will be playing in, they realize that most of their top players will choose ECNL for the upcoming year.
Top Crossfire Premier players will choose GDA because It's free ! Don't pay a dime.

Anyone with good sense is thinking along these lines. It would be absolutely foolish to chose ECNL over GDA this year. It will have its growing pains this first year but if you are a top player and want top playing time you will chose GDA.

Free and playing rec-level is a choice no one will make.

Within a 24 month window GDA will be the only top program.

What if you are player 7-25 on GDA? No other soccer allowed, much fewer games and strict substitution rules mean many girls will get very little playing time. Won't develop and can't get college looks if not playing & cant guest with other teams.

The prohibition on high school sports will keep most top players away.

                        GDA will be B league.

Of the 7, you might get one girl getting looked at heavily.

Roster cap is 23, not 25.. and they may actually cut the roster at 20. This could be a problem for players 16-20 as only 16 will go to away games. This isn't ECNL where everyone goes and plays because you are paying $8k a year. This is for top players who will get a lot of play time. Period. If you are not a top player than go to ECNL.

Why skip the high school experience. You are only young once. I predict it will keep most top players away.
