Ask them very specifically when you will get for you $2000.00. They will be very vague as they know they will wing it as usual.

These girls will have limited exposure as they work out the kinks for the next year or two. Then it is back to the drawing board.

You do realize that both DA programs are funded through OYSA fees paid by many of the poorest soccer players in the state, right? Those poor families are helping fund both DA teams. Seems kind of sad to me.

It's a theory you can't prove any of what you claim..which sucks. This is not a transparent relationship Peregrine reveals nothing about where the OSYA league,cup,rtc and even camp monies actually go.

One could argue they go to pay the wages of OYSA flunkies MS and EL which is the most logical appropriation since Peregrine would of never hired these guys unless the OYSA monies were funneled to them. Those monies fund their jobs as no MLS club has control of a State Youth Org.

or the OYSA TIMBERS/THORNS fees could pay for the transfer fee of $1 million for a middle aged south american player on the MLS Roster.

Also the DA's could be funded by the revenues from the corporate suites or the sponsorship dollars from the Root sports package.


This list of possibilities is endless and your left with an empty theory.

The tryout fee is irrelevant in the big picture as they pay for nearly all the expenses of the Timbers/Thorns DA players.

I wouldn't say all the years but I think the DA has become pretty self sufficient with earnings from fall/winter OYSA leagues, state cups and tournaments. Anyone who participate in those is funding the program and that includes the poor families scraping it together for a league, state cup or tournament fee. The DA families on this board are having a hard time digesting that and even coughing up a simple thank you seems out of reach for them.

Peregrine has claimed the 4million dollar transfer fee for
The Timbers player Blanco this year and Porters contract bonus in 2015 for winning the MLS Cup had to come from Peregrine reserves.

Another rumor like yours, claims these reserves used were actually proceeds for OYSA fees pd directly to Peregrine.
