Why is there no information about it yet? The gda programs elsewhere (like Crossfire Premier and San Diego Surf) have already announced their coaches and tryout dates. Are the timbers just going to slap this together at the last minute?

Not only have others announced coaches and tryouts, many have already had their tryouts and have formed teams. Thorns will wait until after ECNL tryouts and then take the "B" teamers, pine riders, and dreamers that are left over and whose parents can write a $20K check, then announce that they'll play one more year in OYSA.

I still say, wait it out and join when it is a sure thing. Let other kids be the guinea pigs this year.

The RTC coaches are doing a full court press on GDA this year. It's pretty bad. They are concerned about not getting numbers out for try outs.

Love how Ecnl (joke in Oregon) parents are worried because their crap league and experience can't even stand up to a coming program that probably will end up being crap like Ecnl in Oregon.
