ECNL clubs in Oregon contribute nothing to overall player costs unless you can work out financial aid which is said to be a pittance off of the initial club fees. No assistance with travel costs.

Sadly the Oregon teams are some of the worst in the league so "value for the dollar" has been highly debatable in the last two years.

It's 4-6k/year, including travel. Same as a good travel OYSA team. More exposure to college coaches and much better competition.

If your dd is a starter and is rostered for all the games it can be around $8k all-in with hotel including showcases which are irrelevant until u16. This does not include parent travel costs.
$4k is for a player who is rostered at maybe three games and a showcase.

In WA State, XF best coaches are being assigned to DA. Reign is going DA. XF ECNL is B team and WPFC is still ECNL. This will prob equalize level of play for Oregon teams. Using NW Conference for ECNL 03 as an example, taking away Reign and XF teams the rest of the teams will be more even giving OR teams more visability to keep up to other ECNL teams.

Crossfire is holding ECNL tryouts before DA tryouts. They know from their parent group that 75%+ of the girls are staying in ECNL for sure. That's why they are advertising the DA teams as the "A" team, to try to lure some more girls over to that side, as well as any unsuspecting players/parents from other clubs. It's not working though.
