That's why these clowns (OYSA) are in trouble financially they are the only USYS authority that can sanction a usys league, a usys state cup & a usys odp activity, and they gave that sanctioning to Peregrine-exclusively.
What's so funny is the 2 former administrators at OYSA are now on Payroll at Peregrine after all the business changed hands from OYSA to Peregrine.
It's would be absolutely hysterical if it weren't true.
This all happened while you were busy trying to book seats to Idaho and Utah for elite soccer games.
Asleep at the wheel.

Would be nice if they could help to clean it up, but if they want to sit on the sideline whiles other do the work that's fine; just quit trying to pass the buck as to how we got here.

Then a small pool of girls teams (FC LOSC & THUSC) try and run away to tundras of Idaho and Utah and claim they are not complicit in this activity, just poor innocent locals forced to spend thousands on hopeless travel avoiding the Peregrine mess.
Got it. Your hands are clean.
You filthy two-faced lying pigs.
You idiots blew up the OYSA and started this mess with creation of the OPL that divided as state and you opened the door for GW to take it all back under Peregrine at OYSA.
Love to have a memory like yours. pick and choose what you want to remember.
This isn't a swipe, it's a slap to your face...

Merritt and GW have already cleaned up and have banked the monies.
By virtue of contracts with OYSA.
Good luck undoing that mr. accountability!

Why did OYSA hand league admin over to the Timbers? Why are Timbers profiting off youth soccer? The fees keep going up too.

OYSA handed over their only revenue streams without any hesitation years ago..then when Peregrine wanted more years of this gold rush OYSA said sure.
All of the OPL members were back with OYSA when the extension was granted for a 10 year deal with Peregrine...
Every club can thank the OYSA for their decision

As for Capital, Bend, Eugene, Medford & Washington Timbers clubs they might lose their top athletes to another sport but those areas don't have any competing relevant or 'better' soccer club within their region.
As for the Eastside Timbers they are pretty well geographically locked like those remote clubs above, so the kids can't be lost to better clubs to the east like Zig-Zag soccer club on the base of Mt.Hood they aren't going north to the Troutdale elite clubs or heading south to the Molalla or Estacada training centers or even heading west to the Gladstone or Milwuaukie rec clubs or THELO.
