As a casual observer, I've been watching this string because my son currently doesn't play for a DA team.
I'm developing the opinion that the best competition will be in the DA league next season, but see that there is a lot of emotion laced into some of the comments, and sometimes that results in bad information.

I've found it useful to read the comments, and have been able to filter out the garbage.
As with any due diligence, I intend to contact two clubs that are local to us to get contact info for the coaches.

While this is my original post, someone else is asking for the comparison of two clubs.
Coincidentally, those are the two clubs we are looking at. We aren't a culture fit for Westside.
I don't need anyone to compare the clubs. We've been to one practice at one club and will be attending the other club on Thursday. We may go back to both a second time.

We will use that to make our own opinion. I'd advise the same for anyone else thinking about a move whether it's DA or something else.

We are currently at ADF. Great club. Like the training.
I am not saying my son will 'walk on' to FC, BSC or Westside.
I am saying that those clubs suit us geographically, and two of them culturally.
We don't know a lot about either club, but having now attended one practice, it appears that he fits in.
Part of the discussion will be around how deep each club is at his position.

Either place will provide more consistent competition next season. That's one of the reasons we are looking. Have enjoyed our current experience. Wish them well!

It probably was a Timber Academy coach that got fired up. Sure that word was inappropriate, but they are definitely a for profit club and nothing else.
What justifies charging that much for a tryout? Many in question will mostly likely not tryout there for those reasons.
