Which means they are rolling teams so badly that OYSA is embarrassed and knows posting the scores will further infuriate the dummies paying those fees to underwrite this team.
So let me ask again. Why do you want ECNL to fail and hand over a complete monopoly of youth soccer to the crooks and scam artists running Oysa? ECNL isn't taking money out of every soccer player's pocket by raising our fees to underwrite the ECNL teams. ECNL isn't putting their elite teams back into OYSA to beat down and demoralize their former teammates. ECNL isn't doing anything except offering consumers a choice. And if we the consumers don't like what they have to offer we don't buy it. Isn't that good?
The people cheering for ECNL to fail just completely boggle my mind.
There are a number of dimensions in the OYSA/Timbers relationship that are deeply problematic, from a commercial (10-yr exclusive contract), governance (real and potential conflicts) and sporting (running a league, entering teams, affiliating others, and having separate teams that arguably compete with it) perspective.

Big Brother is Watching
I wrote the OP about OYSA not publishing u17 scores. Important to note that within 30 minutes of my post, OYSA posted those missing scores. Nice to know our fees are being used to pay someone to monitor this board.

More games than the Thorns Academy's are still not posted. Why? They aren't listed as being contested scores. Why are scores missing?

Unless thorns teams are above those rules?

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostStandard arrangement is that if scores aren't reported by both team managers, score is entered from official referee report. I'm not aware of any penalties against teams (or managers) for failing to report scores; but there are lots of teams that are frequently tardy about this.
"Teams are required to enter their scores into the Affinity Game System within 48 hours of the game ending."
I don't see a footnote saying "does not apply to Thorns Academy teams.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostIt does not. But quit complaining. You are lucky to have the privilege of supporting this team. One day you will be in your BarcaLounger eating chips and you'll watch a World Cup game. You'll turn to your wife and say "remember when we helped Salem Superstar pay her fees in OYSA?" That's the closest your family will get to the big leagues so be grateful for the opportunity.
