Oregon clubs are not very good and don't do well against their out of state neighbors regardless of where or who they play for. Ecnl Oregon teams would get embarrassed by random teams from Washington on the regular.
If a team can manage to get every single top player in Oregon and sw wa they will be very good. Current Oregon Ecnl teams at u14/15/16 are hovering around 30-40% of the best players combined.
They are still mediocre as the rest of the lot in Oregon. But because they decided to play in a national league they NEED all of them just to even make it slightly worth it for top 11 players.
Cost equals need for larger rosters
Lack of talent equals need for better players because their is no decelopment in losing 8-1 every game or beating a bad Idaho team that anyone can beat.
Their model requires some of their sub par coaches to need to win games so they don't do right by their players at times...
You can achieve playing at a top school simply by playing a lot and training well so when more and more people see that it isn't worth the above you get the coaches and parents from those clubs getting desperate to save face.
What are you talking about. A lot of the teams they play in Ecnl are as mediocre as them. You could easily pick tournaments to got to to find better teams. Silly.

Everyone use that person as an example for a typical Ecnl Oregon affiliate. Lies to cover and bs to sell.

ecnl Oregon teams at u14 have 30% of the best players combined.
U15 it's 30-40 combined.
U16 it's 30-40% probably.
Why else do you think their coaches cold call and their parents are anxious and lying.

U16 it's 85 - 95% probably.
Why else do you think their coaches don't bother recruiting like those Thorns Academy and Timbers Alliance coaches do every day?
