CU has a team that scored 4 goals the entire year...ask yourself how good their striker will be only scoring one goal all year. Ask the entire team how good they will be when they spend their game chasing actual good teams around.
Wins aren't everything but failing to compete or find success leads you to...well CU Ecnl.

Welcome to the mindset of the Oregon soccer parent

I realize one of the big arguments is that ECNL put 40 girls into college soccer last year and thorns got zero. Even TA teams have put a bunch of girls into college. But what that thinking misses is the cost. Thorns is only 2200-3200 per year. Timbers Alliance is about $3000 if they go to lot of tournaments/showcases . ECNL is 5300. That's a big savings. Almost 1900 per year.
Sometimes the point is to save money.

Wow. Just looked at some scores. There's no match for Crossfire Premier U18/19 (haven't looked at other age groups yet). 6 wins, goals allowed 1, goals for 25. Clearly most clubs put their B squad in DA. I see they beat reign 4-0. Reign beat Thorns 1-0. Yikes.

Not really a reflection on the Thorns per se, but this Burlingame + PSV thing in their division is a laughing stock along the west cost . . . flying to play 1 game and getting blown out.
Literally twice as a bad a situation as it was for the worse Oregon ECNL teams last year (at least they got 2 games when they traveled).
Does the GDA kick those clubs out?
