Oh wait, you only watch from your living room, can't go to the games like you can MLS. Thanks for the moronic comment.

Have developed contempt for MLS product though - don't pay their players ****, invite almost everyone to the playoffs (demeaning value of regular season), don't respect international calendar, and don't pay solidarity payments.
It is a product that is designed to be mediocre; Timbers will still sellout for the next decade because they have not in stadium competition . . . TV however, too many superior soccer choices. Seems MLS' owners are content to accept that, as long as they can get the next buyer in the Ponzi scheme to buy a franchise.

Feel limited connection to sterile MLS. Was an unqualified supporter of the Timbers before they tried to monetize every last piece of youth soccer . . . when it comes to TV, I chase quality and that isn't the MLS.

Daughter digs the Thorns, so I go to a couple of games a year. Frankly it is the best women's soccer in the world so it is not hard to watch, even if the microbrews are $9. Secretly though I am cheering for whoever is playing the Thorns - daughter cheers for them and she is happy when they win, so I can't really go wrong.
MLS is not a top 5 league in the world, and I can watch pretty much any of the top 5 leagues on TV regularly . . . after 20 years less likely to waste my time on mediocre product I don't have any connection to.
