Why don't you read previous posts, I was responding to the poster thinking it was athletic ding dong!

Not according to US News and World Report, who ranks universities every year. The top 200 (more than that because of ties) are considered Tier 1 and ranked by national, regional, etc. Oregon ranks above OSU, sorry to tell you.

I will not post a link, but here are the current numbers. All the PAC12 schools are considered to be national universities and all are ranked. Which means none of them provide a crappy education, unless you are an elitist slob, which you might be...

        5 Stanford
        20 Cal
        23 USC
        24 UCLA
        54 UW
        92 UC
        103 Oregon
        111 Utah
        124 Arizona
        129 ASU
        143 OSU (tie)
        143 WSU (tie)

This shows what an idiot you are. You must of gotten the lousy education you are talking about. Even the bottom of the PAC12 is in the top 25% of soccer programs in the nation.... Try doing some math before flapping your gums.

I did and it kept saying Eugene has more strip clubs per capita than anyother city in America. So there's a reason to go to UO.

The post was in response to a claim that Oregon was ranked 400 academically. USN&WR. Others rankings can differ but not dramatically.

Niche.com?! Are you f'g kidding me? You're actually quoting as your "source" niche.com? Now I seen it all.

Not only did this person quote Niche.com, but going to Niche.com, could not duplicate those rankings! It is not a reliable source...

The point being no ranking system is 'reliable'. The question you have to ask, all things being equal, where you want to get your degree from. OSU and UO would be near the bottom. Add the crap soccer. I could see them being ranked pretty low.

Better off going to any one of the UC schools.

Sure, UC schools might all be better but UO & OSU are better than almost all other schools in Oregon. Most Oregon girls have the lower choice to make.

If someones DK wants to play at a good college or study at a good school it takes time, work and commitment. Mediocrity gets to stay here.
