Did OPFC ever leave Thunderdome? I just looked and they only lost once, and lost out on playing 2 games (like other teams) They easily handled Bend who "won" the irrelevant winter league. I am assuming you are an ADF parent?

Why do opfc honks make excuses for everything? You beat bend (so what) and updx early when many were hurt or gone but lost to santos and tied all other real contenders. You are blow hards….

Totally agree- they should be thanking their lucky stars westside 05’s and adf 05’s are not in the 04 group

Reading the site Kim Jong-Un was possibly a doppelganger for BM with a shaven head, so much for my reading comprehension. In any case, it made me laugh. This is not ever the case when discussing the infamous BM.

OPFC managed to make it to nattys already. But have looked rather vulnerable in winter league, and basketball season is over so that excuse doesn't apply. Maybe they're giving bench players more run since they've don't need to win State.

But a few weekends ago, the WSM05s, who usually have trouble against big fast teams like OPFC, were arguably the better team in a 1-1 tie, holding most of the possession. OPFC's only goal was scored by an ex-WSM player (JJ) on a counter, and ex-OPFC player LSdC played the match of his life as Westside's back line shut down OPFC's always-dangerous forward corps.

OPFC is probably one of the favorites in the 04 age group, especially if they can avoid Santos.

OPFC also had a free kick as time expired and LSdC headed the ball the wrong way and off of his own teammate for an own goal, as time expired. The AR ruled that OPFC forward DP had touched the ball (he did not, per multiple Westside kids) and the goal was not allowed. End of game. Westside was not arguably the better team, but they were the more "arguably" team. Hence the 5 yellow cards and red issued to Westside. Cony was in rare form and the inexperienced ref allowed Cony to stop play for over 10 minutes to argue EVERYTHING. No extra time was played.

Huh? What shots were taken? The LSDc mention about the header? That is not a shot. LSDc is an incredible player and an even better young man. Sometimes the ball just goes where you do not want it to.
