Do you honestly think that Cony, John Bain, and the rest of the logistical staff at Westside a) read this forum, and b) decided to deprive WT FC of a tent and a bench because of some nasty anonymous comments posted here by some nasty anonymous parent?

I honestly don't think they care.

If your team manager doesn't know how to do his/her job, and knowing what equipment needs to be brought to a match (and making sure it gets there) is part of the team manager's job, that ain't Westside's problem...

What was very clearly implied was you can't expect people to go above and beyond when you are a dick to them. That is basic human nature. Be nice to people and they will be nice. Notice a Westside parent congratulated Wash Timbers. With class, style and grace, we said great job. Must feel really good to beat us. And as aforementioned, it was well deserved. The parents have zip to do with the kids performance. The parents WA Timbers parents are horrendous. Kids were talented, they whooped us and were good sports.

FC stole their current keeper from Westside (after the 15-16 season)... Westside stole its keepers from Crossfire and ADF... ADF stole a forward and a mid from Westside... and so on.

There are no doubt many other thefts that I am unaware of.

Ummm, new here? That's not what happened at all. What happened was WA Timbers were disorganized, not prepared, didn't catch up on their responsibilities and dropped the ball. Then threw a giant fit because Westside didn't clean up their mess. Had nothing to do with kids and everything to do with idiotic parents. Keep up.

It appears three OYSA games this weekend were cancelled. Both RVT games in Medford (vs ADF and Eugene), and IFC GPS vs Red2 (can't remember where the game was scheduled).

Anyone know why? My guess is air quality--both Rogue Valley and the Portland area are at "unhealthy" (just above 150 ppm of whatever). OTOH, most games in the Metro area went on as scheduled; the air in Beaverton was definitely dirty but that didn't result in any cancelled matches.

Listen crazy soccer mom, here's the deal. You messed up and you are trying to deflect. Lets be clear, you have always seen bench and tent set up for away teams at DA games because your only reference point is last year---when it was required. Your first game was last weekend and it was at home. You provided these items because you didn't know any better. You didn't read and keep up to date on the information. You were surprised and caught off guard when you weren't provided for today. You had a toddler size tantrum and you were wrong. You are now having a toddler sized cyber tantrum and only making yourself look like a bigger fool. Going forward, you should not expect any DA team to provide these items if you are the away team. Especially if you are a total ass to them repeatedly and then all week leading up to the game. You did nothing but talk bad about Westside, but you expect them to go above and beyond? You my dear are the one who looks like a tool. Read your DA information!
