There would be scholarships for them to play football if they could outplay the men. It may happen one day. Face it Title 9 is reverse discrimination. Do you think it's fair that women have 2x as many scholarship opportunities to play D1 soccer? If you had sons who played high level soccer and didn't have girls your answer would be different. So funny that all this talk about Title 9 and how it made our USWNT suck. The bottom line is the women's team plays crappy soccer. Everyone here puts down various local teams and clubs for their "kick it over the top to the fast forward" style, but that's exactly how the WNT plays. They don't even try to work the ball forward with possession, they play with it in the back and then look for an opportunity to launch it over the top. These are supposed to be highly skilled players, yet they can't keep possession through three or four passes unless the other team is playing way off. I don't know if they don't coach it or we can't play it.Comment
