Vantucky teams would beat 10 of your 12 teams. That is domination. But it's ok, it's expected. Vantucky has 95% of the top players and coaches in Clark county. They are expected to dominate you.

The swing was evident this year when FCSC lost 40% of their players and top coaches with B licenses. It's expected that FCSC is second fiddle in Vantucky
Third Fiddle. Besides 3 teams, all of FCSC premier play at a lower level than Pacific, which is just a select club with parent coaches.

Just because WashT is big doesn't mean they are any good. Club peaked about 10-15 years ago and has been on a downhill slide ever since. Girls side has been obliterated. Boys are barely competitive in 2nd or 3rd divisions. Any players with a shred of talent leave by U13 for better clubs. Just the facts.

Mostly true. Some players stay and fade away.

WashT doesn't really support their players past U13. They will provide them some rec coaches and charge them "A" team prices for "C" team training but the East Vantucky mouth breathers are OK with that as WashT gladly accepts EBT cards.

WashT needs a DOC on the girls side. That would be a start. Position has been vacant for 10+ years.

True fact. DoC was asked about providing more support for the girls side at a managers meeting, and it was suggested that a female DoC or assistant DoC would be welcome. DoC said that there was nobody (female or otherwise) that could do what he can do...

Fantastic! Did he give a timeline for when he was going to begin? Clearly, he has not started yet.

yes they do have a girls side. 35 teams as a matter of fact. They have teams at all levels of play. The club actually cares about their players by creating an environment for all skill levels. They constantly tell us that the goal is to prepare the girls for the Thorns and ECNL. They are not in this for themselves unlike your selfish club. Add to that three National Championships in the past 10 years. More than your club has at any level of play. Multiple state championships. More recently - '05's just won Crossfire Challenge. I looked at their website a week ago - I saw like two "A" licensed coaches, four "B" licensed coaches, two of which played professionally, and one has won two Womens European Championships (I didn't know that they even had something like that for women). Three "C" licensed coaches and gobs of overqualified assistant coaches all following a DOC that has ran youth academies in Europe, has been a DOC for the state of Michigan, is top five US Soccer coaching instructors, has his UEFA "A", USSF "A", started the DA Academy at Colorado Rapids and won an MLS Championship. Their leadership and staff looks pretty solid.

I think W-T-F-C have been doing fine and the future looks even brighter as they have a very qualified staff now. Moving forward they are looking good. It's very early in the game. W-T-F-C has had no more problems than any other club in the PDX Metro Area.

I'm on my third kid in this club. Brought my second and third kid back from Pacific FC this year. We left because of the problems. It is way different now. Looking at this site I can tell you that there are quite a few clubs that should grab a hold of their club and make some big changes. Bring in some new leadership. These guys in the PDX area that have been around running these clubs for 15-20 years have done a great job but it's time for a change. Tons of outdated coaching styles from low level premier to ECNL. Yes, ECNL coaches are terrible in this area!

Your statement is confusing. You state that ***C constantly tells players they are preparing the girls for ECNL and Thorns then you go on to say that ECNL coaches are terrible. Which is it?

How do you state that the ECNL coaches have tons of "outdated coaching styles" (whatever that means) and in the same breath claim "W-T-F-C have been doing fine and the future looks even brighter as they have a very qualified staff"?

My guess is you just go off of what you hear around the water cooler. You should probably only speak about what you know not about what you hear.

What do the DOCs make at ***C? You have more then one? With all the new players coming in you would think ***C would be able to afford a quality DOC dedicated to the girls side?
