Very very few. Big clubs have multiple age-pure 2002 teams.

all of our top players at every age group get opportunities to play up for portions of the year.
To say how many at one particular age group is tough to know. I hope you are at a club that allows that or at least fosters it for small parts of the year. If a child isn't stretched at times they don't grow as much.

All clubs except Salem & Eugene went birth year age pure. Apparently, it backfired on Salem with superstar leaving and no 2002 team at all. Euegne has posted one 13 player Rec level 2002 team. 2001 team won't be decided until November. Eugene's current '01 A team only has a couple 2002s though. Both clubs will backtrack and do full birth year next year after the fiasco of attempting to keep teams together.

I don't know. I assumed teams but it might be girls. I'll email the doc and get to the bottom of this and ask about purity while I'm at it. Stay tuned and I will right back.

Well, if they are just Oregon girls, then probably Chinook Cup "C" division, Capital Cup "D" division and PYSA rec tournament.
