    Boys CY05 Rankings

There may be a few clubs delaying The Switch as long as they can, but most of not all of the major clubs on the boys' side are making the switch starting next season. Last year, there was no need for an 05 thread, as that was U10, but now the 05s are U12s, so it's time for 05 parents to stand up and be obnoxious.

Technically, State Cup finals are this weekend, and tryouts for next season aren't until next week (other than a few Washington clubs), and the season itself doesn't start until next month, but with the U12/U13 DA's starting up, we can recreate the acrimony of the ECNL debate here on the boys' side. Woohoo! (And the parents of girls shouldn't get to have all the fun). And the CY switch should really mix things up, as teams get rearranged all around the state.

So who wishes to hurl the first insult?

Yes boys play soccer. Girls play something that somewhat resembles kick and chase slowly with lots of pushing and many, many crazy parents on the sideline.

Too generic. My SS plays for Westside, so your statement is false anyways. But given that knowledge, I'm sure you can craft a suitable insult.

Early thoughts on State Cup '17?

This weekend, it's Westside vs LASC in BU11. Teams are nearly evenly matched, it seems; each has beaten the other. But next year's U12s will be a mixture of this year's U11s and U10s.

(More interesting will be LASC's U13 entry. Their U12 side last year competed in Division 2 (and won their flight in Spring League)--will the older U11s plus the U12s result in a quality side? And anyone know how U10 has gone?
