Highly doubt its CU coaches cause they actually still have teams playing. They are a little busy still.

Don't put words into my post if I didn't write them. I did not say that recruiters were at league games "stalking" players. I've even watched a recruiter here and there and regular high school games when they were there to watch particular players. It happens as you said. I did not, in my original post, say that recruiters came out to watch every single league game, for every entire team. Recruiters do come out to watch teams for particular reasons. Sometimes they come out see certain players and end up being impressed by others.

There are HCs, ACs, and sometimes they even ask buddies to look out for someone for them. I even know some coaches who have done a great job in getting recruiters out to games or even setting up friendlies.

Yes. Individual player talent is the key and one can be a non-ECNL player who catches the recruiter's attention; sometimes when seen in person or in a video piece.

I have to say that I find it odd to see a post which tries to slam Timbers Alliance clubs yet places their Crossfire United Reserves "B team" in the same OYSA league (with higher club fees).

Heard only 17 came out for CU 2001 ecnl. Might be recruiting here. Players maybe busy with state cup.

Might as well have early tryouts

Its not FCP's coaches will be doing anything else this week, like preparing for State Cup finals. (Other than BU18, who will be aging out of youth soccer anyway...)

          Sometimes navies get sunk.

That's what happens when you put just your B teams in state cup. But it's OK, FC's B teams showed they are just as good as everybody else's A teams.

Really? That must by why there were 40+ at FC's tryout on Sunday.

Still trying to make silk out of a sow's ear with those ECNL teams? They have reached a new low, even worse than Birmingham ECNL.

And yet the worst of Birmingham's teams would still roll OYSA Premier. Must suck to have to watch Timbers kickball year after year after year and see no improvement in your DD's skills.

Really? So, you are saying that the Boys FC team that you reference here in your post is actually their B team?

What did their Boys U18 A team do this past month instead of play in the State Cup?

Thats not true, they are worse. FCP's A teams at u11-u13 didn't make any finals. FCP B teams aren't in finals either at the older ages. They are not as good. Sorry.

Maybe but not horrendously bad like the TA "B" teams. At least FC's "B" teams are competitive in Premier division. TA "B" teams languish in 3rd or 4th division at best, if they have a "B" team at all - actually if they have an "A" team at all.

Wow! I never thought I would hear the day that an FCP supporter would hang their hat on their B teams. So, it has now come to this. Kinda sad that the club has fallen so far, so fast.

WOW!!! You have bought into the FC BS!! Read back what you wrote and then apologize for being stupid.
FC's demise has finally caught up with them. They have had poor leadership for years and it was just a matter of time before this happened. The next one will be THUSC.

Truth hurts doesn't it. FC's "B" teams are 3 divisions better than your club's "B" teams AND they regularly beat your club's "A" teams. Must suck in the Alliance these days.

Having "B" teams in Premier just shows depth of talent pool and how much development is happening even on "B" and "C" teams. Foreign idea to Alliance clubs, we know, but maybe someday you'll get it. Or not.
