Can't we all be nice? Most of the OR teams are in brackets with mostly other equally low ranked teams. Good luck to all the players from OR!

Soccer and sun and college coaches at competitive games (as opposed to ECNL blowouts)...make fun all you want.

Oddly, I skimmed the girls brackets and it's only the usual suspects from the NW down there. I saw some THUSC teams, FC Portland and the Thorns Academy teams, but that's it. So apparent one doesn't need to travel to play college soccer according to lack of OYSA teams down there.
It would appear the flights start with the top teams and work their way down. The Thorns U16's are in one of the bottom flights. They got a win today but there were three 'slammers' teams above them. Even FC was considerably higher, but they lost. Apparently, the Thorns thought process is that it looks better to win against crappy teams versus losing or getting a tie against better competition. Why? So they can get some wins? They must realize coaches will surely know the lack of skill of their opponents? Just win baby!

Pretty good number of college coaches attending it. Surprised more clubs don't send teams.
