You mean like the Portland ECNL teams that have 30 players rostered. Those bottom 15 or so aren't really reserves? Ummmm, yeah, right. Don't worry buddy, we get the "rostered" vs. "reserved" game.

Please let me know 1 team that has 30 rostered players. BTW you can also look at the team from Mustang and Rage to see their rosters and find out they aren't bringing a Reserve team

My dd is friends with one of the players on Mustang and that girl didn't come. Don't know how many players were with her, but I do know at least one was missing, and she's committed to a top school, so she not a bad player.

If Portland was actually beating their top teams, then it shows you how bad they are. I mean, Portland doesn't all of a sudden become good after being atrocious earlier this year.

Your ignorance comes thru in your post as Reserves are not allowed to play in ECNL league games unless they are rostered. If they are rostered then they aren't reseserves

That's not correct. To play in an ECNL game you have to be on the ECNL roster. Being rostered doesn't mean you'll ever play though. That's why the clubs have Reserve teams. They get the extra ECNL training and get to play in the top division of OYSA beating up on other club's "A" teams.

You're right. The Portland Thorns Academy actually got significantly worse from year 1 to year 2. Go watch a U18 game. "Sub-Rec" would be a good description.

It's ECNL soccer, you bring the best players you have available. Don't know if she is injured and didn't travel, but injuries are a part of the game. Man do I wish we had a healthy team
